M Pharma Pharmacology
The study of Pharmacology is part of the M-Pharmaceutical course offered at Rameshwaram Institute of Technology and Management. During their time in the institute, future pharmacists will gain essential knowledge for their careers. Drug formulation, analysis, and evaluation lessons are carried out in a laboratory environment. These practical sessions provide a platform for students to apply theoretical concepts in issues, employing the approaches and actions necessary for a student to become a pharmacist.
Also, the curriculum includes the learning of pharmacovigilance so that students appreciate the need for drug safety and effectiveness evaluation after the marketing of the drug. Students learn to detect and manage adverse drug reactions through case study methods and discussions, thus, contributing to patient safety and public health.
